About us

Our farm, known by the traditional Vulgo name “Obersittlinger”, has been run by our family for generations. Its roots go back to the 16th century.

We have been running the inn and guesthouse with a great love of nature and genuine Carinthian hospitality since 1960. In 1986 we expanded our offer to include a campsite. In 2014, Hermann Jr. took over the business from his father and continues the tradition with the same passion.

Our family business consists of Grandma Elisabeth, Grandpa Hermann Sr., us – Michaela and Hermann Jr. – as well as our children Tobias and David. Each of us plays a part in making you feel at home with us – whether it’s with a warm welcome, fresh farm products, or valuable tips for your holiday adventures.

Here you can experience real country life, the tranquillity of the Carinthian mountains and an atmosphere in which families, nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet feel equally at home. Many of our guests have been coming back for years – that’s something very special for us!
